Each and every offseason we watch head coaches in hopeless situations make changes to their offensive and defensive coordinator positions with the perception that they are simply trying to survive an extra season. Often times the changes are sacrificial lambs that have no impact and only delay the inevitable. In other times the changes are successful and elevate the program to a new level.
