"It's Surreal" - Jared Butler's father reflects on son's path to Final Four

INDIANAPOLIS— Even though his seat was high in the stands, it wasn’t difficult for Richard Butler to peer down on the Lucas Oil Stadium court Monday and spot someone who’d been missing.

His son, Jared.

Or rather, a certain version of him.

“That was the old Jared Butler out there tonight,” Richard said after Baylor advanced to the Final Four with an 81-72 victory over Arkansas. Jared scored 14 points.
