Tounde Yessoufou registered his first career triple-double with 20 points and a career-high 12 rebounds, but both offensive and defensive execution eluded the freshman and his teammates down the stretch.

Bears’ starting guard Obi Agbim scored 12 points and dished out seven assists on top of hitting the game-clinching free throw with 1.3 seconds left on the clock.

The Bears played really clean basketball, turning the ball over just five times and shooting 49% from the field, but were sunk by offensive rebounds and missed free throws.

Guard Obi Agbim was the steady hand late, knocking down three of his four triples in the last five minutes of the game and finishing with a team-high 16 points.

PJ Haggerty and Nate Johnson thrashed the Baylor defense, scoring 29 and 28 points, respectively.

Tounde Yessoufou was held to 16 points on 5-for-16 shooting and Cameron Carr missed tying his season-low, scoring just five points.

Tounde Yessoufou’s career-high 37 points were not enough to get the Bears’ desperate late comeback attempt over the line, and the Green and Gold fell for the ninth time in Big 12 play and the fifth time at home this season.

Yessoufou led all scorers this time with 27 points while also grabbing seven rebounds. Colorado head coach Tad Boyle called Yessoufou “a man among boys” after the game.

Obi Agbim and Cameron Carr led the Bears in scoring with 16 points each. Agbim was not as efficient shooting the ball as Carr, but he registered four assists with zero turnovers. Meanwhile, Carr turned the ball over seven times but also grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds.

The Bears trailed by 17 points with just under five minutes to play before getting as close as 94-90 with 14 seconds to play. A story similar to the Bears’ 69-63 loss in Fort Worth earlier this year.

This is the Bears' fourth conference loss by double-digits this season and their third Big 12 loss by at least 18 points.

The Baylor Men’s Basketball team (10-5, 0-3 Big 12) was out-rebounded and out-muscled by the visiting No. 7 Houston Cougars to the tune of a 77-55 loss on Saturday.

Cameron Carr scored 17 points for the Bears, but it was not enough to overcome a 19-for-62 shooting performance for the home team. This is the second straight game that Baylor scored under one point per possession.

The Bears fell behind by as many as 12 points before mounting a late comeback to cut the deficit to 66-63, but fell short in the end.

It was a very clean game from Scott Drew’s Bears, with the Green and Gold only turning the ball over four times while assisting on 28 of 37 made buckets.

Cameron Carr led all scorers with 24 points and added six rebounds as the Bears won the game on the boards and in transition.

Baylor star Taliah Scott went down with an injury in the second quarter in the 35-point loss.
