On Wednesday, the No. 10 seed Bears must avenge a mid-September 1-0 loss to No. 7 seed Arizona to advance to the second round and a matchup with Texas Tech.

With all the home games in the books, Baylor Soccer (7-6-3, 2–4-2) is setting out on road to finish the regular season. Before the finale next week against Iowa State, the Bears must play BYU in Provo and Utah in Salt Lake City.

After two weeks without a win or multiple goals in a single game, the Bears poured in four goals on 16 shots.

Baylor Soccer drew with No. 22 TCU on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Betty Lou Mayes Field with a score of 1-1. Hannah Augustyn put the Bears in front with a second-chance header in the 59th minute, but the Horned Frogs equalized in the 73rd to prevent the Bears from earning their second Big 12 win.

The Bears built a 2-0 lead in the first half with a pair of headed goals before a third header and a low shot found the back of the net for the Green and Gold in the second half.

Great goalkeeping from Azul Alvarez kept the Bears in the game, but a couple of chances missed by inches kept the Bears in a 1-0 hole till the end.

After overcoming a 1-0 second-half deficit, the Bears conceded with 13 seconds left in the game to draw a pesky Bobcats side.

Head Coach Michelle Lenard was very disappointed in her team's play, but the Bears were anything but overrun in this matchup. Expectations remain high for the Bears of Betty Lou.

Second-half goals from junior defender Hallie Augustyn and junior forward Tyler Isgrig were the difference-makers on the scoreboard, but solid performances from many others were pivotal in helping the Bears extend their winning streak to five games.

This will be the 22nd meeting between the two programs with the Aggies holding a 14-4-3 advantage over their former conference foes. The latest meeting was an exciting 1-1 draw last year in College Station with the Aggies equalizing late in the second half.

The Bears were four minutes away from earning their fourth win in a row — a streak of potentially as many games as the team won all of last season — but the team will have to settle for only a fifth game unbeaten in a row.

Baylor (8-5-2, 3-3-1) is riding high on a three-game winning streak and a four-game unbeaten streak, all in conference. This streak is highlighted by the Bears’ latest victory, a 2-1 win at UCF.

Baylor Soccer used a late goal from defender Hallie Augustyn to earn its third straight win and get back to .500 in Big 12 play with a 2-1 victory over the UCF Knights.

Tyler Isgrig had a stellar night for the Bears scoring two beautiful goals and assisting on a third. Ashley Merrill was the beneficiary and calm finisher of Isgirg’s assist while the Bears opener was netted by freshman and Manchester, UK native Salma Simonin.

The Bears have another good chance to secure points at home and take themselves one big step closer to making the Big 12 tournament.

A Thursday matchup with Kansas and a Sunday tilt against Kansas State will show fans how resilient Michelle Lenard’s squad is after being outscored 10-0 by the three highest-ranked teams in the Big 12 over the last two weeks.
