After throttling Tennessee State 93-27 on Thursday morning, No 18 Baylor (8-2) now shifts their focus toward their fourth Top 25 opponent of the season, No. 20 Arizona (8-1).
No. 18 Baylor (8-2) obliterated Tennessee State (4-6) 93-27 on Thursday morning in the Ferrell Center. The Bears finished the day with 29 points off turnovers and 52 points in the paint, while their bench outscored the Tigers 35-18.
“We have to be tougher. We’ve lost two games where we’ve given up too many offensive rebounds down the stretch when you look at Maryland and Michigan,” said Collen. “Some of those were dead-ball rebounds where we couldn’t squeeze it.”
It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t pretty, but it definitely looked like an old Southwest Conference slobberknocker, as No. 17 Baylor (3-0) defeated SMU (1-2) 58-55 on Tuesday night in the Ferrell Center.
