It was nice to see Baylor find ways to get Richard Reese on the field, which has been one of the biggest question marks all season long.

While it’s nice to see yet another young player step up for Baylor, it’s never a good sign for any defense to have a safety be their leading tackler.

It was nice to see Baylor shake things up on offense this week during their 32-29 victory over Cincinnati. While it might not be sustainable against everyone left on their schedule, it was definitely a breath of fresh air.

What Baylor was able to accomplish in Orlando was simply remarkable and hopefully, the turning point of the season this team desperately needed.

Despite getting embarrassed at home by No. 3 Texas (4-0) 38-6 on Saturday night, Baylor (1-3) was able to show some slight improvements within their passing attack and the Bears were able to force some much needed turnovers at times.

Dawson Pendergrass was the big bright spot for the Bears, but a young defender also delivered a notable performance.

One redshirt freshman who made the most of his opportunity against Utah was OLB Kyler Jordan. The Lubbock-Cooper prospect had a career day for Baylor.

While some of you might not be in the mood for today’s article after Saturday’s disastrous performance — and rightfully so — I would like to shine a light on one Bear whose contributions were crucial in keeping the game as close as it was.
