These days, 76 is not that old. My dad died at 92 and he didn't work out a lick. God knows our days and there's nothing you can do about it.

On this we agree! Like the IRS, I sure wish God could send us a yearly statement in the mail telling us how long we have to live. This would make this retirement planning stuff so much easier!

Carl Weathers was in the NFL and then a movie actor for 40 years including this iconic role. You're saying that is not a fulfilling life? It's not about how long you live but what you did with those years.

I was saddened to hear the news this morning. Along with the world, I will miss Carl. He was a great actor, a terrific athlete and a good friend. I cherish many special memories of Carl, both professionally and personally. Like Apollo Creed, he had that special charm that always brought a smile to your face.

Carl Weathers will always be a legend. An extraordinary athlete, a fantastic actor, and a great person. We couldn't have made Predator without him. And we certainly wouldn't have had such a wonderful time making it. Every minute with him - on set and off - was pure joy. He was the type of friend who pushes you to be your best just to keep up with him. I'll miss him, and my thoughts are with his family.

I'm not some great acting savant, but Carl Weathers always seemed way underrated. He could deliver a line with aplomb like few others.
