Right, a few blocks from Waco Dr on N.15th is not where a lot of folks want to be. Plus this is a 5/4 with 2740sf for $550K; there's a very similar house around the corner, 4/4 with 3250sf for $149K.

The show was supposed to be about the worst house in the best neighborhood

Clints doesnt fit that model and thats why they cant sell their house.

I did not watch much of that show, but from what little of it I saw it tended to be houses with good bones that were in bad neighborhoods. That's why they were so cheap.

I mean the article answers the question.

It is way overpriced for that area.

Heck it is overpriced for a lot of houses the same size in better areas (Hewitt, Woodway, China Spring, Robinson, etc.)

Then of course the issue pointed out of the neighborhood.

Then the investment piece...... anyone who buys it for that much is probably guaranteed to never make that much on it when selling it later. And renting it out would take a long time to earn enough. I would also bet as a rental it is too far away from everything and too big for most people to rent. People doing an AirBnb eitehr want 2-4 bedrooms and right next to the silos or out a little bit to get a "country" feel.
