Just watched a few minutes of Fencing. Holy cow that is one boring sport. I think if they would sharpen those foils, take off the safety gear and grade on how much you made the other guy's blood flow, it would be much more exciting. Also, we would be insured of a lot of new competitors in the next Olympics...
On the other hand, watched the Chinese vs Korean women in ping pong. Those gals are nasty. Absolutely amazing serves and volleys. The Chinese definitely had the upper hand

Seems this happens every 4 years - men's 4x100 relay messes up the baton pass.
Looks like #2 (in white bandana) left too soon and #1 couldn't catch up to him. So #2 nearly STOPPED to not go outside the passing zone but it was too late.
And #4 left too late and was behind on the pass to ensure USA had no shot at a medal.
The U.S. hasn't won a medal in the event in 20 years, and it's been 24 years since they won gold.
