Pecos, that was an amazing documentary on the Vaughn bros. Loved seeing the early days in Oak Cliff and all the musicians and friends that were from that area. And to find out my childhood crush Yvonne Craig was from there too! All the legends you were able to get to be a part of this was incredible. I was fortunate to get to see SRV live three times and this doc brought back all the wonderful memories of them and their music.

Thanks so much. It was indeed a true "labor of love" because I witnessed so much of the VBros early careers and I noticed that NONE of the docs about SRV had on-camera interviews with Eric Clapton or Jimmie Vaughan.
It's still up on most of the major streaming sites (except Netflix) so please tell your friends and compatriots.

And YES, most of the great unwashed believes the Vaughan Brothers were from Austin.
They weren't.
They moved to Austin AFTER they became accomplished players in the DFW music scene.
I am amazed at how many folks don't know that, but that's one more reason why I made the film.
