Beach Boys, the epitome of classic. I still turn up their songs when they come on the radio. Wife has Kokomo on her Kenny Chesney playlist. They are "summer".

The Beach Boys and their harmonies were a perfect antidote to the ear splitting instrumentals and 'protest' songs of other groups in the '60's.

Interesting side note about The Beach Boys, Brian's brother Dennis was the drummer in the band and had the Manson family living with him for a while.
