One of my old favorites. A Nancy Griffith tune sung by Willie Nelson and Emmy Lou Harris. Love the line about this the only place on earth bluebonnets grow.
I'm not familiar with the song but that is really good

Brings back memories. In high school in the mid-1970s my friends and I would to go to Galveston beach almost every week in the summer of 1975, right after this album came out. The old Balinese club was there and because of the song, we were all intensely curious about it. By then it was a legit restaurant, but ZZ Top is singing about its decades as a mob club with a casino. Frank Sinatra would go there. The Maceo family owned it and even though everyone knew they were running a casino, they had too many friends in too many places for law enforcement to shut it down. The casino part was at the end of a really long pier and any time there was a raid, the police had to run to the end of the pier, but the club would have already been warned and hidden the gambling paraphernalia.
