It wasn't terrible but I had low expectations. It did have high quality action scenes.

netflix has produced crappy movies and done better than big cinema since they see what people watch(crappy adam sandler netflix movies have done really well and comedy specials are very highly sought after)

The critics have crucified this movie. I guess I can understand why. It's a combination of Colors and Lord of the Rings.

Quite frankly, I really enjoyed it. I knew going into this that I'm not watching Will Smith give an Oscar performance. It was a "free" movie on Netflix. I want to be entertained for two hours on holiday. I was highly entertained. I found the story line interesting and appealing. I lol - literally. I may watch it again to see something that I might have missed.

This movie is like scaled-down version of Bad Boys with some magic, but I enjoyed the heck out of it.

I'm looking forward to the squeal.

It did remind me of the movie/TV series from a few years back "Alien Nation". Matter of fact, it was so close, it was eerie

I had a working theory that an actor's trajectory was on the way down when they did a cop-buddy-dog movie (turner and hooch, k-9, and top dog), not sure what to make of the emerging cop-buddy-orc genre.
