Many moons ago, I was a service advisor for a Chevy dealership.

The 2-wheel drive trucks/suburban/Tahoe's were all "C" s. The 4WD was a "K".

All Cs were the same frame and all Ks were the same frame. 1500, 2500 and 3500 distinguishes 1/2 ton, 3/4 and 1-ton.

A C1500 is the same as a Suburban only a different body

2008 F150 now, 208K miles, no problems, will trade in for another F150 next year or so, it's wonderful!

Went with the F-150 XLT.

2018, V6 Ecoboost Engine, RWD, Crew Cab, Black

The F150 is the best choice IMO.

The Nissan and Toyota are nice second place contestants, but the mileage on the Tundra is awful and the marginal differences in reliability between the F150 and the Tundra don't quite put the Tundra above the F150.

As products go, the F150 is a good emblem of what's right about US Manufacturing

IIRC, the new V6 Ecoboosts actually have more torque and horsepower than the V8s

3 on the Tree. Wooden plank bed decking. Those metal loop gate closures thingys. Dale Steele. AM w/ 5 punch stations. Those little angle side windows for AC.
