Wasn't Uncle Dan's a night club back in the late 70's and early 80's? What was the name of that place?

Here is what got these guys. The damn massage parlor was videoing the activities in the rooms and saving them. How stupid was that? Then when the raid occurs there is a treasure trove of guys or women as well possibly paying money for sexual favors as a bonus to the massage on either disks or tapes or whatever.

It is illegal to make a sex tape without the consent of all involved. Unless they have clear signs up stating everything in the room is being filmed. That can be another problem for the owner.

It was originally The Executive Club.

The executive club was a mob front for a Waco mobster named Dwight Parks. Adults had drinks inside while kiddos like me swam in the pool. Early to mid seventies.

Kelly's

Kelly's was in that little strip shopping center on New Road a few doors down from Jack and Jill. I think you are thinking of Rocky Racoons.

Kelly's was at the corner of Valley Mills and Lake Air.
Rocky Racoons was on Wooded Acres behind the Burger King.

At least as my feeble mind remembers it.

Yes. And before Rocky Racoons it was called The Shadows, owned by the Graham Brothers (Graham Central Station) and run by the baby brother Terry. I worked there a couple of times

Uncle Dan says it was Kelly's. This is copied from his website.

"In 1996, Dan and Clara bought the old Kelly's Night Club building at 1001 Lake Air Drive. After completely remodeling the building and adding another drive-through window, Uncle Dan's made the move to its new permanent location in May of 1998."

I stand corrected. I wasnt living in Waco at the time but sure thought Kelly's was in that little strip on New Road between Valley Mills and Waco Drive. A guy a year or two younger than me managed or owned it. He was a catcher frpm Richfileld and had played a few years in the bigs. Expos I think. The back door was a few yards from the Chapter 9 bar.
