Saw it last night. Highly entertaining and had the appropriate feel of an epic movie event. But the ending was not satisfying. I expected a cliffhanger because Avengers 4 is around the corner and this was originally slated to be part 1 of a 2 part move - which it seems like they did anyway. But what they did here will clearly be reversed, which left us feeling like "what was the point of all that". Guess we will find out next May.

I can see that, the difference being Empire was really good.

What has made Marvel so good was reasonably good stories and not just endless CGI fighting. This was endless CGI fighting. About a 160 min run time, it needed an editor badly.

Not a complete dog, but in the bottom third of Marvel.

Agreed. I liked the first 2/3 of the movie reasonably well, but absolutely hated the ending. It was so obvious that it was a fake ending. I don't like "all powerful villains" who can't be stopped. Because the only way they can be stopped is by cheating -- which is what they'll have to do in Av 4. Not happy with the story at all.

It won't be cheating cuz Dr. Strange knows the winning end game. Probably that all those folks live on in the Soul stone. Nebula FTW.

I'm not a superhero movie kinda guy. The only ones I like are IronMan and Guardians of the Galaxy. Fortunately this movie had both of them.

It had some really laugh out loud moments. The CGI was over the top. Movie went on way too long and I ended up sleeping through about 10 minutes of the final fight scene.

My (naive) son was worried that maybe they actually killed off some of those characters. No way do Black Panther, SpiderMan, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc all die off in the same 1 minute scene
