The the spawn of Keyser was a baby I often sang "Yer So Bad" as I rocked him to sleep. Truth be told they are oblivious to the meaning of lyrics at that age and I like Petty far more than the lullabies my wife used.

Really like the Full Moon Fever to Wildflowers era for Petty - sort of a second Golden Age for him

Maybe it is because I am a Missouri Ozarks Hillbilly and my wife went to high school in Iowa where it was a high school requirement, but we went more this way.

Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" from his 9th may be the most played and recognizable classical piece known.

So simple it is often the first piece someone new to music is given to learn.

Many simple Petty songs, far more good ones than most.
