Here's one from a different war. The song from my youth was the Joan Baez version that became a top 40 radio hit when I was in jr. high. But the Band's version has infinitely more raw, emotional power. It's a shame that this song is deemed politically incorrect in some circles today.

One more and then I'll take a break. It's interesting to compare live versions from different periods. The first is from the early '70s "Teaser and the Firecat " was one of the first records I bought with my own money. The second version is from my middle age; the tempo is a bit slower and more reflective.
