A bride posted an expletive filled rant on Facebook after her and her fiance tried to get the guests to pay for the wedding. They wanted cash gifts of $1500 from each guest..... and surprisingly few people were willing to do so. So they lowered it to $1000 each... still no takers. Then a gofundme didn't raise any money either. When her fiance suggested a wedding in Vegas that was too much for her. They have since split and she posted the rant online saying that $1500 is not that and she must not mean much to her friends if they aren't willing to spend that on her, etc.
Sounds like she got exactly what she deserved. $1500 is a good amount to spend on someone, especially a friend. Personally if I am going to spend that much on one thing/item/trip I want to get my value out of it.
