Flew up to St Louis Monday on business,, and back this morning to Houston. On both flights the planes had to go through some rough weather and turbulence, but on both flights what shook me a little was we caught some wind shear on landing both times, and the pilots in each case had to fight strong winds which pitched the right wing up and the left wing down just as the plane was about to touch down. The landing in Houston at IAH this morning involved the pilots fighting to keep the plane on the runway as it pulled hard to the left after touchdown, and we completely stopped on the runway while the pilots checked to make sure the landing gear had not been damaged. After we debarked, I saw the pilots walking around the plane with a bunch of airline and airport people; the next flight out was delayed, just don;t know how long. Had to get on the road, so I didn't have a chance to see what happened later.
Just seemed weird, wind shear on the landings both ways. Never saw that before.

That which does not kill me, will try again and get nastier
