Anyone else get through Baylor without attending or really understanding what Sing is?
Yep. Never attended a single one during my time there, never saw the attraction.
My wife required me to attend some of my son and (now) daughter-in-law's sing performances. While I love all of them deeply (wife, son, dauthter-in-law plus baby on the way), sing/pigskin was even less entertaining and significantly longer and slower paced (it seemed interminable) than I had imagined. All the other dads I spoke to, when not in the presence of their wife or offspring, agreed.
Suggestion. This situation could be greatly improved by the introduction of a cash bar in the lobby. It would improve the experience for attendees and be substantially profitable. Bear Arms Brewing, Balcones and Valley Mills Vineyards could sponsor. A lounge area with TV's where patrons could sit and sip a Balcones French Oak Single Malt, Bear Arms 1849 or VMV Estate Tempranillo while waiting for their offspring's act would be so popular that an expansion of the space would be required.
