**I don't really follow the movies closely. I go because my family members are big fans and I tag along.

If Spiderman turns out to be a butt pirate, my boy is gonna be really pissed!

They've already built up spiderman's interest in Mary Jane. It could definitely be captain marvel. She already has the haircut. It would be a bit weird to have the only female superhero in the marvel movie universe be gay though. Falcon. He's lame so they may try and do something to add some intrigue to his character.

I had not heard that. I've heard someone wants them to dump marvel and replace her with a gay superhero.

If I had a vote, it'd be Pastor Jeffress. It wouldn't be a stretch to make that character gay. His superpower would be self hate.

A little off topic I dont keep up with all the Marvel stuff. But I thought Captain Marvel and Shazam are one in the same. Now Captain Marvel is a woman and Shazam is a seperate super hero?

I don't know man. Google Captain Marvel. You will see what I mean. There was even a Saturday am TV show in the mid 70s called Shazam. Billy Batson turns into Captain Marvel after uttering the word "Shazam". Captain Marvel and the character people now call Shazam wear the same outfit.

I 100% remember the show. I didn't realize he became captain marvel but the goog says you're correct. It also says the Shazam/Marvel was DC and there was a comic book with Shazam and Marvel (the girl) together.
