Seldom bought an issue of Mad, but read many issues at the magazine rack in the grocery store while my mom shopped.
Potrzebie.
When I was in 5th-7th grade in Corsicana, I would buy my copies of Mad at our neighborhood convenience store at the intersection of 37th Street and 2nd Avenue. I still have a few of them.
The stuff we read on the racks in the back of the store were the magazines with stories about how Paul McCartney died in a car wreck and the Beatles replaced him with a double.
