I spent several months working on the Louann's project. It turned out to be such a very, very cool project, but there was a little icing left on the spoon. I had so many more tidbits of 'what was before Louann's', namely the Falstaff Tavern and Globe Theater in the English Village at the State Fair Centennial version. Thought this might be a good time to do it. I spent many hours at Dallas Historical going through old files and blueprints and - at least in my mind, I thought this was a really cool and interesting story. Once again I have to thank the Martinkus family, Michael and Pat Martinkus and of course Tony Bovis and Chelle Bovis Banks.
