Who do you have? This is a hard one because of all the great names being left out.

Ruth
Mays
Wagner
Williams

Ruth is still the overwhelming highest rated player in almost any meaningful statistic. There are a heck of a lot of people who could be considered. If Bonds had done what he did without the aid of PEDs, then he'd be #1 with a bullet, but I'm not giving him credit for cheating.

I have

Bonds
Babe
Williams
Mays

I'm watching Baseball on Amazon prime. I just finished the 4th inning. Enjoying it immensely.

Excuse me, how in the wide, wide world of sports could you leave out Ben Hogan? Other than Jack Nicklaus or Tiger Woods, nobody ever had better stats, especially in the majors.

Brain fart. I knew I was missing a name from the Nelson error and couldn't come up with it. I guess he gets his own mountain.

He won the only three majors he entered in 1953 a year and a half after a car wreck crushed his legs and left him supposedly crippled for life. The British Open win was at tough Carnoustie at the only British Open he ever entered.

By the way, most experts give him a fifth US Open win in 1942. It was sanctioned by the USGA and the medal looks like the other four. It was war time. Hogan counted it.

To go along with the Western TV show theme, greatest Western movies

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Magnificent Seven
Once Upon a Time in the West
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

That leaves out about 20 that could be in the competition. Outlaw Josey Wales is the one I struggled with -- in comparison to Butch Cassidy.

I'll counter with:

Pale Rider
Silverado
3:10 to Yuma (2007)
Outlaw Josey Wales

I think I'd keep your list and swap Josef for Butch.

Which 3:10 to Yuma?

I thought hard about Silverado. I remember it came out at the same time as Pale Rider and I liked Silverado better. Josey Wales is hard to argue with.
