I'm being let go due to the Covid-19 impact on our company and my last day is next Friday. This is the second time in my relatively short career to have to be looking for a new job so safe to say I am worried as I know what lies ahead of me.

I also know the power of connecting with others and reaching out to ask if anyone knows of anyone who is hiring. Any job I have landed started by knowing someone who got my foot in the door. If anyone on here knows if their company is hiring or not, please let me know.

I recommend you go to work for a service company and learn how to perform that service then start you own company in a few years in a growing city. If you are honest, competent, work hard, show up on time and return calls and emails daily...you will be successful. Make sure you choose a service that people actually want.
