Maria Muldaur - "Midnight at the Oasis"

It got a lot of playtime that summer!

My 17 year old self knew this song and would be appalled to see me like this, but here it is. Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck doing an old tune that's been covered by all sorts of pop crooners and even Lawrence Welk. That said, the guitar work is sublime and the video is a moving tribute to Jeff. Clapton is still one of my favorites after 50 years and this is a really nice version of the tune. They played this onscreen at Jeff's recent tribute concert at Royal Albert Hall.

The same questions are being asked now, 50 years later!!! Terry Kath- so underrated. The documentary on him and his daughters search for his guitar really, really good! Watch it if you can.
