One of the best voices ever. Saw him my own self many times..He was a major draw in Houston , early 60's, with BJ and the Triumphs..RIP ..

He had an incredible voice. Some people need a bunch of producing to sound good. He did not.

Grew up in Richmond/Rosenberg and went to same high school as BJ several decades later. Several of my friends dads were in the Triumphs. Never got to see them when they got back together occasionally.
