We finally got the film cleared for all of the music, a two-year battle, and now the distributor is performing due diligence. Should be up on a streaming service in 3-4 months.
Meanwhile, they have set up this web site so you can subscribe and receive an e-mail the minute it becomes available!

Been a long hard road.
Here's the trailer, in case you were living abroad.

Amazing job, Kirby! This old Waco club was visited by the Vaughan brothers many times..with different bands..The old place was known to get a little "hairy" on occasion ! http://wacohistoryproject.org/Places/abraxasClub.htm

I actually went to the Abraxas when I was at Baylor. Stevie's band, Krackerjack, was playing that night, but I was more interested in my young female companion at the time.
But I DO remember it.

Wild place, at times..Even raided at least once! Great music indeed...Paul Ray and the Cobras were a real treat to take in! Trying to recall, but I think both the Vaughan's sat in with the group at one time or another..Keep up the great work, amigo!

I only went to the Abraxas once. But we stayed all night, danced all night, drank pitchers of beer and in general got about as wild as you could in Waco in the 70s.
Stevie wasn't the "front man" for Krackerjack, but was the guitar player.
I remember thinking that they were a pretty good band.
Again, I only had eyes for my date that night.

I know you are acquainted with this story, but I think the legend began after this night at Antone's..I wasn't there, but have heard from some who were. https://srvofficial.com/news/how-stevie-ray-vaughan-met-albert-king/

We have photos from that night, and Jimmie describing it, on camera.
All pretty cool, IMHO.
