We have seen a ton of publicity around NIL activity involving players at high profile schools. The most notable to to me is the "Horns with Heart" offensive lineman deal at Texas, as well as whatever the deal that Quinn Ewers deal ends up with at Texas. As much as we all hate NIL and the transfer portal, it is our new reality and I think it has a chance to ruin college sports. However, if any college program refuses to acknowledge and participate in this new reality, then they will be left behind. That certainly includes Baylor.
There has been virtually no publicity around any NIL deals that Baylor players are getting, at least that I have seen. Is this happening behind the scenes and is the school purposely keeping any details about individual NIL deal under wraps? I can't imagine that Rhoades, Aranda and Drew, are refusing to encourage NIL deals for their players. Can anyone shed any light on this?
