Yep it is time for it to go. However it will not realistically go until after it has been the brand for about 2-3 more years. We are well over due for some serious new wrinkles though to the football unis. Such as at least metallic yellow helmets and metallic green helmets.

Alot of damn trophies and championships under the last branding as well. But neither brandings caused that to happen. Additionally I have been around Baylor long enough to know that given brandings dont last any where close to "forever" in fact they last on avg about 5- 6 years here hence my 2- 3 years left of this branding comment.Stefano DiMera said:
Lot of damn trophies and championships in the last 3 years..just sayin'.
And for it to be 'time to go' after 3 years.. that's not how you build a brand.. You may not like the brand .but that's tough titty.

Honestly, count me among those that think the rebranding is a failure. It was too loose from the get-go as you can see from the initial picture. It also served to offend a lot of old fuddy duddies by getting rid of basically the only constant in Baylor Football: gold helmets.
For all the beating of the drum Baylor did about what the real school colors are, it sure did look stupid when the basketball team won a natty wearing dark ****ing gray. Idk how you defend the rebranding after that. Literally the biggest athletic achievement in school history and we're wearing gray because of how wildly inconsistent the rebrand is regarding what teams get to wear what colors.

Pretty sure they were wearing gray because the team wanted to and it was pretty popular on here too when they did it.

And his point is that is inconsistent with the public pronouncements about unified branding. Just as the old photo above introducing the new branding shows some sports get to wear gray and or black or a darker green and some don't. Men's hoops got to keep high lighter as well.
That all said if you go to Baylor's website it appears we now have 6 different greens that are official and 3 different golds that are official. Then at the bottom it says metallic gold is allowed and gives its code number but not a sample. So it appears there is already some evolution away from the April 2019 announcement that is now allowed.

It has seems pretty unified to me compared to what it was.
