Baylor (17-16) advances to the semis of the College Basketball Crown in Las Vegas after thumping Minnesota (15-18). Next up for the Bears is a Saturday match-up against Oklahoma (20-15) who got by Colorado.
Positives
- The win ensures the Bears will not have a losing season for the 19th straight season. It's been a frustrating year, but what a remarkable feat for Scott Drew and staff.
- There was outstanding focus and defense for the Bears, holding Minnesota to 0.81 points per possession.
- The free throw defense was on point (47%).
- Arguably Obi Agbim's best all-around game as a Bear.
Needs Work
- I love Isaac Williams IV, but he’s more effective on the court than on the bench. He needs to stay out of foul trouble.
- The high school band that was hired to play all the teams fight songs (cool), but they can’t play Baylor’s? Baylor’s Old Fite had to be played as a recording.
