By points, the Bears are the No. 29 team in the AP and the No. 27 team in the Coaches poll. No. 22/24 Dayton and No. 21/22 Memphis both jumped up from unranked to above the Bears knocking the Green and Gold clear out of both polls.

Baylor will play one more guaranteed win against New Orleans on Dec. 27 before Big 12 play starts on Dec. 31 against Utah.
