Clear Falls 2023 OLB Corey Kelly commits to Baylor

Clear Falls High School 2023 outside linebacker Corey Kelly‍ gave his pledge to Baylor following his official visit this past weekend. He becomes commit No. 13 in the 2023 class and the first outside linebacker.

BAYLOR 2023 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST

The Texas 24-6A unanimous first-team all-district selection finished his junior season with 97 tackles, 16 for loss, four sacks, and 11 pass breakups.

Baylor was the first school to offer him back in January of 2021 and made him a priority throughout his recruitment.

“It was just the environment to be real,” he said. “Waco feels like home."

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect built a strong relationship with the entire Baylor staff during the course of his recruitment. But built an especially strong connection with his primary recruiter, Caleb Collins. He will be his position coach at Baylor as Kelly will slide into the JACK position on Baylor’s roster.

He committed to Baylor over offers from Houston, Memphis, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Utah, Indiana, Missouri, and Mississippi State among others.
