I didn't know that Baylor was bigger than Oregon and Wazzu.. I always assumed they were big state schools. For purely the number of eyeballs for the conference, grab the AZ schools, Washington and Oregon simply because they do have a national following, thanks to Phil Knight. It would be good for the Big 12 to have the 2 largest student populationed schools in AZ State and UCF.

Although Arizona St has the largest student body, they aren't the brightest bunch. They're like a Tech or Okie St without the rivalry within the Big 12.

Would love to have trip to Tempe for nightlife and golf. But yeah their fans make Tech and West Virginia look docile .

Remember these are the fans who chanted 'Wheres your daddy ' to Steve Kerr a week after his dad was assassinated.

The 18500 figure for Oregon appears to be only their undergrad enrollment as well.

Those numbers appear to be undergrad only. Oregon is around 24,000 with graduate students. But still not as big as I would have expected.
