Easy, TCU. Their fans were ugly to us when we played in Ft Worth, with their anti-Mormon signs they brought in with them and then there is the vile hatred that they post about BYU and Mormons over on Killerfrogs.com and calling us conference killers, and cultists (though they are hypocrites since they left the MWC for greener pastures too).

Yeah they have some mouthy posters. They don't like us either and have a 900+ page Baylor hate thread. Making rape jokes is high brow stuff to them.
Yeah, you'll find very few over there that are particularly interested in engaging in any sort of "playful back-and-forth banter"! Oh, they'll tolerate the occasional "where's a good place to eat in Fort Worth" kind of inquiry from visitors (up to a point) but any, more critical, discussion attempts will awaken a very vocal cadre of intolerant KFC netizens manning the ramparts!
Not sure why Cyclone hates Bear so much but there is an unreal hatred there. Will get worse since we in essence killed their "Best Team Ever" last year.
None the less as a result I return their feelings. Their fans are just horrible.
However, TCU is just above them. I agree that they are the annoying little cousin who just will not stop bothering you. Several years ago I took my daughter to both TCU and Baylor when she was touring for schools. At the TCU tour they spent so much time talking smack about Baylor it was sad.
If you can't beat someone on merit, you run down the competition, Right?
Go Bears!
Others have posted before that Iowa State's fans' hatred of Baylor goes back to 2013. It may be more than that but it also makes some sense in a petty way (holding grudges for years is petty anyway).
They were almost as bad as Kansas for years before they hired Campbell. In 2013 they came to Waco for our homecoming game & played hard but could not do anything offensively or defensively. Even after a couple great kicks & kick returns, they were scoreless until the last few minutes of the game. Meanwhile the Briles juggernaut was rolling along nicely, despite a slow start, and we put up 64 points, mostly with backups in the second half.
In the final minutes of the game, they managed to put together a drive & score a TD. Then this happened:
Here is John Hawkins's excellent summation of the game in about 20 minutes:
Our local Baptist Church hired a new young pastor who was a TCU graduate. In one of his sermons when a pastor for less than 6 months, he addressed the rivalry and that Baylor was his hated enemy and rival. I decided then that if that was his hated enemy and rival, declared from the pulpit, then I need to find a new church. I did.

I've been to a number of away games. I live in FW, so usually make the TCU/BU game. TCU is by far the worst experience as a visiting fan. Last game, we had quarters thrown at us from the deck above. We would have appreciated the contribution if not for the painful delivery method. Smack talk is fine, but non-stop smack talk sprinkled with lots of cursing, when I'm walking to the car with my young kids? Not cool. My wife refuses to go to games there anymore because of the TCU fans. I root for them to lose every game in every sport.

Remember Shawn Bradley that used to play for the Dallas Mavericks? He was at the BYU vs TCU game I think it was back in 2008, when TCU fans harassed (and tried to start fights with) his wife.
Coming in a close 3rd would be North Texas after they stomped us in 2003. Had to sit in front of their student section behind our team while they cursed and belittled us the whole game.
Dislike for TCU goes back to the late 60's or early 70's basketball game that decided the SWC championship. One fan used vulgar curses loud enough to be heard thru the HOT, including by any children present.
Well, as one of the oldest rivalries in college football (started in 1899 with 117 games played and TCU holding a 57-53-7 edge), it's pretty easy to see why TCU is the biggest rival for Baylor, and vice versa, no matter what anyone else thinks

Maybe we need to go back to playing them five times a season like we did back in the 1890's so everyone can get over their TCU. That's the reason the series shows so many more games. When they were in Waco they played each other many times a season.

First game I have watched since Briles left. Such great teams. I was such a fan, but hated some of the lack of discipline and knucklehead things we did on the field. Still, that man could coach offense.

"as many as three games a year for several years". Go ahead and take six games off if you want, but TCU is our longest rivalry

I was there in 2015, 2019, & 2021 and never experienced any of that. I must have been lucky.
Being a "t" shirt fan since I didn't go to BU I'm not sure I hate any team in the B12. I'll say this the best experience I had as far as BU games go was Manhattan in 2019. Great fanbase! The worst hands down was Stillwater in 2019. That was a brutal experience as a BU fan. Wasn't impressed at all with their fanbase
Think it was 71 basketball team when we were playing at TCU. The fans were giving everyone lots of crap. Once the game was over a player by the name of Steve Baldwin runs over to were the biggest loud mouth was jumps up into the stands and knocks the crap of him. Too funny...the guy was totally stunned. Steve is retired Dentist living in Hot Springs.
The 70's, 80's, and 90's were real fun; more recently 2011 thru 2014 was fun to, with 2011 being my favorite game in the series. I think Big Bald Dave gets it back to being fun again starting this year.
TCU fans are infatuated with Baylor. Which makes it all the more fun to kick their tails.
When does the 'fun' begin?
You ladies gonna field a basketball program anytime soon?
I love the short drive to watch the Bears paste ThCU every year, but I don't think holding a coach hostage that wanted to go to UCLA is very professional.
