Though I was glad to see Jaren "quicksilver" Hall and the rest of the boys in Blue get the win over your Grizzlies, I was very impressed with how far your program has come compared to two seasons ago when you were still figuring out your identity! It will be such a blessing to share the gridirons of the Big 12 with you and your fan base, and we can't wait to share more of our famous Provo hospitality in the future!

That was called Covid; Baylor football got hit pretty hard by it -- the main, but not only, reason BU had a very poor record that year.

I'm sure that played a small role. It was tough on all of us, no doubt!

The local vaccination statistics had little to do with Aranda's inability to meet with and establish a rapport with the team prior to August 2020, nor with Fedora's horrendous offensive gameplans.

Oh, I certainly agree! I was referencing the claim(s) that Baylor's travails that year were due, in no small part, to an out-sized Covid impact.

That's one of the weirdest posts I've ever read. Grizzlies? Gridirons? "Quicksilver" is a nickname that nobody but you has ever uttered. Bragging about our hospitality? C'mon man! We're trying to establish some street cred here and your little house on the prairie English ain't helping.

Vaccination status is meaningless to football or anything else: lots of people got the jab and still got sick with COVID--including Joe Biden. Likewise, lots of people refused the jab and remain healthy today.
