The XII was right up there with the new Big 2 as you can see. It should be noted the Pac game had its blue blood and future B10 member in its game with its play off berth on the line. And the XII game as you know did not have either of its future SEC members in the game.

Would love to see the exact same numbers from last year's title games. I remember some similarities.

I think those are good numbers when you think about the times of each game. Early morning vs middle of the day vs evening/Friday evening.

I just noticed the XII championship viewership is just about equal to the Pac and ACC's viewership combined.

Yes, and the huge factor being left out here is that the Big 12 game was at 11 am. The others got much better time slots. (Left out in the data - certainly Cowboy pointed this out too.)

I thought that was the same too last year with us and Ok State.

Just read on ESPN..this years Big 12 championship game was 15% higher than last year game as far as ratings..and this years peaked at 12.7 million viewers..the highest of any of the games this past weekend.

I was wondering about this. Big 12 had the only close game out of any. It was easily the most entertaining game on TV this weekend. Glad to see these results.

Also, the second year in a row when the winner had an amazing goal line stand. Again with the entertainment.
