Agree that many sports are divided into haves and have-nots. Only the NFL really pushes for parity.

Tcu they were trying to chill and you refuse to cover. Just absolutely abusing the coverage. Tough when Uga's #2, #3, and #4 wideouts are way better than tcu's #2.

Precision routes, great timing, great hands, and elite quickness.. levels

They're embarrassing the Big12.

The Big 12 is embarrassing. And it will be unless they start recruiting NFL prospects that are successful for years in NFL.
These aren't choices that schools/conferences make. College football is a broken sport and has been for eternity.

It's the only American sport that openly fights parity. The blue bloods get the best players and that's the way everyone who runs the sport wants it.
Might I suggest checking out America's Pastime: https://www.mlb.com/
You mean the sport where 20 teams have played for World Series since 2000?

There are lots of ways for small market teams to compete with big spenders in baseball. They do so every year. And there have been a ton of rules put in place since the '90s to promote parity.
Other than the Royals, care to name one Toad Bunny?
TB and Braves most recently? No idea what the payroll was but wasn't Yankee size. Just guess

1 team…. Maybe, but they won't be consistent like the Dodgers and Yankees.
The Yankees have been anything but consistent the past 20 years. They haven't played in a World Series since 2009 and have played in only one since 2004.

And until 2017, the Dodgers were one of the most consistent underachievers in baseball.

Baseball isn't equitable in spending, but it rewards those who run their organizations well. The Rays have been as consistent as either of those teams you just mentioned. And the Marlins, Royals and Braves have as many World Series titles as either since 2000.

The Marlins, the Nationals, the Braves, etc., etc.

Only a fool would question the parity of a sport that has seen two-thirds of its franchises compete for titles in a 22-year span.

TV markets don't determine payrolls. Owners do.

And payroll hasn't predicted success in MLB since the Yankees were a dynasty more than 20 years ago.

Few teams have been that more consistently than the Tampa Bay Rays have.

And virtually every team has had a winning window in the last 10-15 years. Money helps you keep that window open longer, but there have been plenty of small-payroll organizations that have found ways to build consistently competitive teams and plenty of big-spending organizations that have struggled to do the same.

OOC games matter. Schedule the SEC, PAC 12, Big 10 and prove your worth. Outside of the top 2 on those conferences most are very beatable. Baylor and Tech beat Ole Miss on back to back years. Kstate beat LSU last year. These teams can be beat but instead we let them start with 7 or 8 teams in the top 25 and act like the whole conference is unstoppable when only 3 or 4 of the teams really deserved to be ranked
