While most do not expect a vote or decision at that meeting, multiple sources tell @YahooSports to expect the topic of the TV deal to be discussed.

George Kliavkoff has asked the conference more another meeting and more time after presenting the initial deal today.

Remains to be seen what will happen next, but there will be discussions at tonight's Arizona Board of Regents meeting.

Wondering if this is the same kind of rhetoric often heard from HCs being pursued by a bigger and better school offering more $$ and more prestige when they vow that they're completely focused on being the HC of the school where they're at - two to three days before they're at a press conference talking about how excited and honored they are to be the new HC at the school that was pursuing them.

To add to my previous tweet, there is absolutely no confidence in a deal and nobody knows where the linear aspect is coming from.

Sources indicate that there is very little linear aspect to the deal that will be presented tomorrow. Nobody knows where it is coming from, but there is also speculation Kliavkoff could present escalators of sorts if certain ratings numbers hit.

News: Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff will finally present a TV rights deal to league members within the next 48 hours, a source tells @TheAthletic.

The Board and ADs are scheduled to meet tomorrow morning.

No decisions on the deal or any schools pondering other options are expected immediately. Campus leaders are digesting the possibilities of a stream-centric future and the variance in potential income. The money piece is tricky because of the variables of subscriptions.

You need 500K subscribers at $20/month for 4 months. That gets you an extra $4.4M per team (if 9 teams). You need $11M per team just to match the #Big12 .

That's a lofty subscriber count at $20 a month (not sure what the price will be).

The people who work in the offices are excited they get to keep their jobs for a few more days. They have more time to update the resumes. So they're just delaying the inevitable. I see no reason for anyone else to be excited.

Apparently a lot of them still have their heads in the sand. They refuse to see the reality of what is happening. The irony is that right now Colorado looks like the smartest program in the crew leaders in the conference. Everyone can thank Dione Sanders.

Numbers are all over the place regarding how many total subscribers Apple+TV has. It looks like maybe 25-million.

More importantly, the people with the add-on subscription for a season pass to Major League Baseball is right at 1-million, BUT many of them do not pay extra for it, getting it through some other incentive package.

So I wonder how many people would pay to watch Pac-? football? And how much? And would that ever reach a high-enough level to create "escalator" revenue??

Larry Scott sold the schools on the Pac-12 Network based on how much revenue they could hit based on low/medium/high subscriber projections.

It turned out to be below low.

Hard to imagine the schools making another risky bet on a newish platform.

I don't think they have an agreement and the number is so low that Conference is playing for delaying announcing until it is too late for schools to announce. If we get into the season, no one is announcing and buys them another year.

Sources tell us the Pac-9 was not able to agree on a new TV deal in this morning’s meeting.

We’re told one major sticking point was that the television deal would not actually be on television.

No ESPN (and in fact direct competition with ESPN) is a huge issue. EPSN does not promote leagues or conferences that don't make them money. Ask the NHL.
