I get that they dont want to encourage gambling but I dont think it should be illegal to bet on yourself. Maybe not at the college level but nowadays these guys get paid so theyre basically pros.

My favorite is all the billboards and commercials promoting gambling with the message at the bottom about calling if you have a gambling problem. Makes no sense.

Who was it on the BU baseball team 15-20 years ago or so that was suspended for a few days and almost lost his eligibility because he casually admitted in an interview in the Lariat that he had won a March Madness pool?
