We have decided to go to the KSU game in Manhattan and all the travel is booked but need to get tickets. I can get tickets in the 400 level 50 yard line (425) that are pretty inexpensive and assume they will be bench. Has anyone attended a game and sat in that section? We went to BYU last year and ended up with similar seating but wow was it claustrophobic. There are a couple aisle seats available in row 19 and just looking for some feedback on that seating before pulling the trigger.

My advice is to set up high. We go there often and always sit close to the top. One of those stadiums were higher is better. If you haven't been before you're in for a treat. Great Gameday atmosphere and a great fanbase to interact with.

I have not been, but thanks for the advice. I was actually born and raised in that area of Kansas and have several former HS classmates who are KSU alum and attend games. Trying to reach them. I was enrolled in KSU in electrical engineering before coming to the conclusion that this poor kid of a dirt farmer could not afford college and joined the Air Force. Was actually a KSU fan for many years before my son went to Baylor and I converted. Really look forward to the trip and will get to visit a brother who lives between KC and Manhattan while there.

I have been in 17, 19, & 21 and always sit in the endzone around section.17 or so which is either in or next to the visiting team family tickets so the Baylor parents will be near you. Lot of other Baylor fans tend to have sat there as well. I don't know where the actual visitor allotment for those that huh as part of the block are but I know the parents tickets tend to be there. This year myself and 3 others are in sec 17 row 1 and I have some others I know a few rows up in 17 as well. Have sat row 1 all 3 years and always a blast there.

I will be hosting a tailgate there as well so please stop by before the game. Will have details for that as we get closer.

Will absolutely stop by the tail gate. I assume since the game is on Veteran's Day we will have some sort of recognition of we vets, maybe I will wear my "Veterans of Baylor" t-shirt.

Hotel availability was kind of tough this late in the game but got the Hilton Garden Inn with points.

I booked my room pretty.much when the schedule was announced but need to call and try to cancel my Friday room as ill be near KC that day now due to wife and her cousins wanting to do a friendsgiving. She is gonna drive up with me from dfw but stay there and fly back later in the week. Couldn't convince her to only spend 1 day with family and go to the game. She will be at all home games except Houston so can't really complain lol.

Be sure to check out the main strip in town that Friday evening. Lot of good spots to eat and drink.

We are flying because I need a couple more flights to renew my A-List status on SW, land Friday before noon and stopping to visit my brother in Tonganoxi on the way to Manhattan. On the way back to KC Sunday will probably stop in KC and have lunch with some HS classmates I have not seen in over 30 years. Should be a great trip.

Man their athletics ticket web site sucks, same backend as we use but bad. Tried purchasing two on the aisle that I considered the best as it was in the middle section on the 50, no go because it left a single. Went to one side and tried purchasing two, error. Waited for email to see if truly an error, no email but seats were gone. Went over to the opposite side and got two successfully and checked purchase history when done, turns out the first two went through. Waited on hold for 15 minutes for the ticket office, during which the entire ticket web site crashed and is still down, but they came on and killed the second two tickets. Still no email for any of the transactions, ticket site still down.....

Sorry but yea the Pacion system sucks. Lot of schools use it. Really sucks on mobile. It refuses to let you remove from Cart but will keep them in a cart for the 10 or 15 min period they set before releasing them if you have them then click out of site and go back in and you can't fix it other than just wait. It caused my 4 to be separated by 2 in-between us. Luckily I found out the one in between my 4 is a Baylor guy from KC I know so works out just fine but man I hate using that system

Got tickets covered. I actually grew up on a farm 45 miles SE of Manhattan so I know the culture of the area and for the most part the folks that are KSU as I grew up from the same cloth. I have several HS classmates who went there and I was actually enrolled at KSU in EE before deciding I was too poor to afford college and joining the AF, that was 43 years ago. Made one visit to the campus when my son was college shopping but they were not so good with scholarships and thus he ended up at Baylor. Actually attend a couple rush parties when I was looking at going but that is a long lost memory. Look forward to this "homecoming".

unfortunately that's actually not the norm there. I've heard more negative than positive from lots of fans that have gone and honestly have never had a positive experience there. Those ag folks hate losing. They really hate when opposing fans tailgate in their parking lots too and raise national championship mbb flags over basketball country lol. Had quarters and nickles thrown at me in 2021. Cussed at by old women at mbb and wbb games there. Told to go rape somebody numerous times including while at a soccer game once of all places lol. Trash fan base that tries to hide behind the image of hard working farm folk. Can't wait to win for 3rd time there.

Yes, we are going. Thanks for the tip on parking, I had not even thought about that. We land in KC on Friday at like 10:30 and will be stopping to visit my brother on the way but will absolutely spend time in Aggieville. Also want to visit Tallgrass Brewing and that is within walking distance of the hotel.
