Don't dog small school kids. There are a lot of great athletes at that level that thrive when given an opportunity.

I covered two (James Washington of Stamford and L.J. Collier of Munday) who went onto the NFL after successful careers in the Big 12.

Trashing an excellent athlete because you're pissed we lost is lame.

Not true. Good coaches go where the talent is.

And with the camp schedule these days, you're not finding these guys, they're coming to you.

It's like Blanchard used to always say, see a stud, offer a stud. It doesn't matter where they come from.

Will be interesting to see what school doesn't care and takes him.

So we finally say "F it" and take a swing at an academic non-qualifier and we can't even get that right?
I generally don't pray for trivial things like football outcomes. That may need to change.
