UCF thought they had this one wrapped up. Momentum is everything in sports.

They knew they could move the ball. There was a 13-17 point swing in the second quarter that could have made the halftime score 21-17 instead of 28-7. I think since the team knew they weren't as bad as the score, they were able to chip away at the lead.

Pretty simple..once we quit being so damn conservative on first down we stayed ahead of the chains in reasonable down and distance on 2ndvand 3rd downs

And getting first downs helped our defense stay off the field.

The line is still trash but if you get the ball out quick and go up tempo they're serviceable.

The mimosas from the traditional game day brunch started wearing off after half time

Without being an expert, I can tell you that 1 turnover (which was questionable) and only 4 penalties (1 on a coach) is definitely at least part of the key to success.

Repeat that and we are easily in every game this season.

Insane in the membrane Q4 effort following a near 40 minute break. Mega hella lucky that poor kid missed 2 field goals.
And a very solid reminder of the importance of depth on Defense. Thankfully UCF didn't have the quality off the bench.
