Ten Things Vs. Texas Tech
Baylor and Texas Tech face off in the longest-running contest in the state beginning next year. Here are the ten things that stood out during the game:
- If I never see a throw to the flat on 4th and 1 again will be too soon.
- It’s time to shake out the OL again. It’s embarrassing to watch the QB get hit while the OL continues to play like a matador. It is game six, and there are no answers from the staff on correcting the issues seen all season.
- Bad habits continue on key reads from the LB position, and it is being exposed by the coach who knows the deficiencies
- Great play by Devyn Bobby to force a fumble recovered by Garmon Randolph. Hopefully, this gets the defense going and a great play call to Jordan Nabors on the wheel route
- Make a block. One block. Do it for your teammate. The fundamentals are lacking play after play after play.
- The execution is not good on short yardage due to poor blocking.
- Being doubled up 111-55 by opposing offenses through six first halves is quite an accomplishment
- Monaray Baldwin with a great play bailed out the lack of protection again
- Caden Jenkins is a stud
- Baylor finally showing life in the 3rd quarter on offense and points are left off the board by the staff again. So many communication and identification errors across the team.
- Yeah, the train has left the station as the miscues we have seen all season and for the last 12 games continue to be made and not corrected.
- Monaray Baldwin takes the top off and gives hope to the crowd
- And just like that another special teams mistake and Tech marches down the field with the defense tackling high and getting pushed around
- This isn’t going to get fixed this year.
- My prediction of grinding out yards was so far off I can’t comprehend only gaining 17 yards against Texas Tech.
