This is what I have been praying for. When I left my wife back in 2016 over a dispute about Art, I knew it would be a long road until I saw my justification for leaving her. But I will be made whole, once Art is made whole. Art being hired by the Aggies (which will become MY aggies, if they hire him) would be a huge step toward that.

Every day, for at least 10 minutes per day, I meditate on my Kim Mulkey bobblehead that is signed by Art, and I channel my energy towards Art''s healing. I sincerely hope the Aggies know what's good for them and hire Art. But it will not suprise me if the WOKE And LIBERAL agendah gets in the way once again and they hire Lan Kiffin or some other beta as opposed to Art, an alpha.

We didn't win any national titles. Heck, we didn't win any NY6 bowl games under Briles. We always choked.

I loved Briles, but he wasn't Saban or Kirby Smart.

That's because our defense and special teams sucked ass.

There was a 2-3 year stretch where we had close to the worst defensive 3rd down stop rate in the country. Our defense just couldn't get the other team off the field. 3rd and 17? No problem, first down UT. 3rd and 12? No problem, first down OU. It was infuriating to watch. Our defense couldn't get stops when it mattered.

Those crap Bennett defenses and special teams units are the main reasons we lost most of the biggest games. The Fiesta Bowl, the Cotton Bowl and losing @ Stoolwater 49-17 in 2013.

It's pretty much just 3-4 posters who spearhead that nonsense. Once they get it going then other people chime in. I can only think of two reasons for them to do it - they have no life and need to see the stars next to their posts, or they are trolls who like to lead the sheep to never never land.

But the crowning blow was our defensive collapses in the bowls that bring could bring you acceptance into the club.

We were close. You were orgasmic over 10 or 11 win seasons while those of us who actually played the game wanted Art to drop that left nad and win ALL of our games. We were never going to get there without a major recommitment to DEFENSE.

How am I living in my "glory days"? Seriously. Does it hurt your feelings for me to say I know more football than 99% of the posters on here. Does my NFL and USFL experiences bother you?

I quit comparing the teams I played on with other Baylor teams around 1987 or so. I let it go back when Reagan was in the White House.

I've defended our 10-1 regular season (.909) and Baylor's first 10 win season when you only played 11 regular season games often. I've never discussed my individual accomplishments other than to say my name still appears in the Baylor records books 43 years later but only made the reference to ruffle limp-dick feathers! It works.

If you played then surely you understand how difficult it is to go undefeated. I do. The 1980 Bears allowed San Jose State to beat us. In Waco. That 1 loss kept us from playing for a National Championship. It should never have happened.

When I see an equally talented Baylor team trip up needlessly or have a real possibility of winning it all, I get upset and opinionated. I wanted BU to win it all and Art's teams had the offensive firepower to do it but he had some glaring weaknesses that kept it from happening. He never corrected those problem areas.

I went 12-2 my senior year. I was on a victorious team for 12 games.

10-1 in regular season. 2-1 in post season.

Cotton Bowl - lost 30-2
Hula Bowl - won 24-17
Japan Bowl - won 25-13
