Third time was the charm on scoring that TD. Enjoy the lead while we have it.
The team whose colors are green and gold but is wearing yellow and white is ahead of the team whose colors are purple and white but is wearing black and red.
Is TCU's D actually as bad as our's? Only saw them in the Colorado game.

I've pushed back for weeks against the notion that they'll run us off the field. They're just not that good.
Let's try to refrain from saying our players suck. We have more class than that.
We really can't bad mouth how good our secondary could be ima few years. If they don't transfer it truly could be scary

Our D now is barely FCS level. How on earth you go into 2024 with Powledge as DC, I'll never know.
For all the crap Phil Bennett got, he at least understood how to have a D that was an adequate complement to Briles point a minute offenses. No, he didn't coach shutdown defenses but he got the job done well enough to for us to still get a LOT of W's.
We gave up 70 to West Virginia and oftentimes had to score 50 to 60 to win games. Adequate compliment????

Our DBs seem to be attempting ankle tackles, and the TCU receivers and backs are just stepping out of them. We'll see if the tendency persists.Bearwhiz said:

When people complain about talent, just a note that attempted hand tackling is not a talent issue. It's a basic coaching issue that's usually corrected by around, let's say, oh........junior high.
