Set an all time bowl game passing yards record in that game...then the next year we set an all time bowl record for rushing yards in the RAB. Not sure of those records still stand.

LSU's defense this year would do that to any decent quarterback. It's crazy how bad that unit was.

The playoffs just shined a light on how silly it is (and has always been) to play random nonconference matchups at the end of the season. When that was all there was, coaches, players and fans accepted it as a sensible way to end a season. Introducing a playoff made everyone realize it isn't.

It's crazy that a) Kirk Ferentz was willing to waste another year with his son actively undermining his squad and b) they still managed to win 10 games despite that.

For the second year in a row, Iowa squandered a championship-caliber defense with an utterly deficient offense. I'd imagine their fans are pretty frustrated.

Half of them are probably happy they had so many wins. I know most baylor fans would bd thrilled to have as many. Most Iowa fans have probably grown used to it by now. Or maybe they are just waiting for the kid to graduate, not that that will necessarily change anything.

Iowa will beat almost every team it is capable of scoring 17 points against. It will get beat by 28-plus -- and likely get shut out -- by any really good team.

This...so much this. While I am disappointed in how we played last year, it is miles away from the Rick bottom so may people believe it to be. I remember not winning three games in 4 years.

Would be nice for players to be paid for playing in a bowl. But who is gonna pay? And how much?

If a player with high draft value is sitting out to protect themselves for the draft it would take a big chunk of change to get them to play? Probably less for those sitting out because of the portal.
