To quote Corso, "Not so fast". We'll see, but one should always be careful for what you wish.

Colorado will hang 49+. Can we score more than 14 is the question!
Colorado has had KSU scheduled for Homecoming and switched to us? Hmmmm

A lot of times that backfires. I think the way Baylor does it makes sense and provides consistency for the fan base. They just schedule the home game that is closest to the end of October. Opponent has not really mattered in the past. Most of the people that come to homecoming don't even go to the game or really have any interest in football at all. If you have a great team at the time tickets can't be had and if you don't, they are not going out of their way to attend.

There is no consistency in the Big12, I don't know how people haven't caught on to this yet.

Iowa St and WVU were buns in 2022 and came out with great seasons this year

Baylor and TCU were 2-7 and 5-7 before going 12-2 and 13-2 the next season, respectively

Kansas was the only team who was consistently bad for a long time. Other than Baylor pre Briles

I remember those days and then we would get one televised game a year usually against Texas

This.

You will see dramatic turnarounds in both directions frequently in our league because no one recruits at a high enough level to run away from the pack or at a low enough level to fall too far behind the pack.

The Big 12 is a stock car race. The margin between success and failure will always be razor thin and the best teams will be those with the experience, maturity and execution level to win the most close games.

And now Kansas is consistently good, although they have not yet challenged for a conference title. That could happen very soon.

Well most of them last year were on the Ocho, which is like a bad Raycom event anyway.

This could be a nationally viewed event. Colorado will be out to score 60. They may have the team to do it. I am not a betting man even though I was tempted during the Steele years but would be interested to see the vegas line on this game. It will be disappointing to see the Texas Football.projections for our team for 24. I would think at or near the bottom. At the 5 win season hearing about "the internal improvements" will sound just like Steele.

Baylor leadership was not impressed with Colorado's rebuilding plan or Coach Prime. This could become amazing shorysited. Can Aranda's defense hold Colorado under 50? Can Baylor score over 21? Right now both are long shots. Hoping as always for the best but not seeing it.
