The No. 15-ranked Baylor Bears (3-0) and the Oklahoma State Cowboys (2-1) are set to clash in their Big 12 openers on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. CT in a game which will be broadcasted live nationally on FOX.

OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES HISTORY

This is the 35th meeting between Baylor and Oklahoma State. The Cowboys lead the all-time series 19-15 after Baylor won 45-35 last year in Stillwater - its first win at OSU since 1939. However, the Bears hold a 8-7 advantage when the series is in Waco and won 49-28 when the two teams met at McLane Stadium in 2014. The Bears and Cowboys first met Oct. 25, 1914, with OSU blanking Baylor 60-0. The Bears won the next nine meetings (1915-42) before a 20-7 OSU victory in 1972. The teams have met once in the postseason, a 24-14 OSU victory, in the 1983 Bluebonnet Bowl at the Astrodome in Houston. BU will be looking for three-straight victories against OSU for the first time since that string of nine in a row. As Big 12 foes, the Cowboys lead the series 16-4, but the Bears have won three of the last four meetings.

He made his return against Rice and delivered 9 tackles (7 solo), 1 sack, 3 TFLs and a PBU.

Would have been better to just throw it to the end zone again

LG missed a block on that run. I love the decision. Execution was really bad.

I do not mind that play call. We beat TCU running when we were not supposed to into that end of the field.

Good we're up but we can't keep blowing opportunities and leaving points in the field.

I'm shocked that after all these years you guys still don't understand the Briles offense at all.

Running there is textbook Briles. Favorable box in a spot most don't expect it. We get 4 yards, we go for it. Good chance we get a first down. Instead, the LG totally whiffs and we get stuffed. But it was a great decision.

Hasty is good but he was sold as Lache-like. I haven't seen him in remotely the same league as Lache. He's a good back. But the sunshine pumping was heavy this summer.

It makes me laugh that this is something I'm known for.

(But it is a classic speech. Right up there with Malzahn's wife.)

OSU has 28 carries for 85 yards
Rudolph 12 of 15 for 112 yards

That fumble on the punt is all that has kept OSU in the game.

The main problem with that running play is we ran it with Hasty instead of Williams.

14-14 after that long rain delay. We need a big stop coming out of halftime to reset things.

We normally do well out of halftime so expecting good things.
